Our philosophy

We provide intelligent content. Why intelligent? Because it's grounded in customer insight and uses an editorial tone of voice to engage your customers, rather than marketing speak. Our heritage is customer magazine publishing and we're passionate about magazines. Our clients are finding that our content also gets results in other forms: web, ezine and DM, for example.

So why does content matter? The average person is exposed to 2,000 marketing messages a day, which makes breaking through to your customer harder than ever. Intelligent content is important if you want to make a connection that lasts.

We produce original customer communications which drive loyalty and sales, at a fraction of the cost of London agencies. How? Two reasons: low overheads and no army of account managers. Our clients talk directly to our creative teams. Simple. Lower costs and a better return for you.

Green thinking

If the lights are on, there's somebody home. That's one of our office policies – when we leave, we turn off the lights. And the printers, computers and scanners too.

Our office has a commitment to the environment that is central to our way of doing business, dovetailing neatly with the ideology of some of our clients. We count the Co-operative Group, npower and DEFRA among them, which is why we offer magazines printed on the best recycled paper that looks and feels fantastic for the readers. We aim to only use printers who are either FSC certified or ISO14001 accredited (or both)! We always recommend the use of environmentally responsible or recycled paper for printing, and greener enclosing options for mailed items. We can also carbon offset the whole project.

In the last year, we've written and produced environmental specials for our clients, looking at the issues at hand and creating a product that really walks the walk, produced in the most sustainable manner, as well as offering energy saving solutions and ideas. Our teas and coffees are Fair Trade, making sure that we give back to the developing world. Just about the only thing we don't recycle is ideas.
