When I was at school, music lessons consisted mainly of a class of 30 unmotivated, disinterested individuals sharing one Casio keyboard between two. One of you would undertake the job of repeatedly jabbing of the ‘Demo’ button. Which usually culminated in 15 different demo modes blaring out at various volumes, while the music teacher hid in a corner and died inside: his dreams of playing with the London Philharmonic becoming ever distant.
Now, this is how it should be done. iPads, real instruments, a very enthusiastic teacher, and a catchy little tune. Giving you a sense of achievement and an end product. You can’t really ask for more, can you?
