About the role: To successfully deliver projects within key financial services and fintech accounts, making sure to maximise client success and opportunity. You will be required to oversee all aspects of the client relationship, including strategy, briefings, project delivery/production and new business. You will be working directly with the planning, editorial, creative and development teams to deliver the project on time, on budget and to a high standard.

About you: You are an accomplished (Senior) Account Manager who is experienced at managing multiple senior clients and heavyweight projects. You will understand digital marketing and financial services. You’ll know how to strategically approach accounts, create and streamline processes, build lasting client relationships, control and organise budgets, plan and run large-scale meetings, spot the potential for organic growth, overcome hurdles and work with a variety of teams internally and externally. You’ll be a first class communicator and driven to succeed. Ideally, you’ll also know how to review branded content.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • Growth: Actively seek out growth opportunities within existing accounts AND other businesses within these sectors.
  • Knowledge: Become an expert in these sectors.
  • Communication: Be a sophisticated and reliable communicator, managing the client’s
    expectations at each and every stage of the project.
  • Anticipation: Know the client personally, their business and anticipate their every need.
  • Process: Streamline and introduce new efficiency processes where needed.
  • Budgeting: Set and control budgets ensuring that projects are being delivered within budget
    and on time.
  • Workflow: During live projects, plan and organise workflow within teams (up, down and
    across) including studio, digital and production.
  • Strategy: Know how to strategically approach projects.
  • Brand: Be the internal brand custodian, represent your client’s needs and deliver on brief.
  • Accuracy & quality: Ensure that all work is created and presented to the highest standard.
  • Success: Know what success looks like and plan to deliver evidence of it.
  • Travel: Be willing and able to travel to regular client meetings London and the SE.

Reports to: CMO
Development: Act in the absence of the team Director, demonstrate the ability to delegate, make pressured and sensitive decisions and show an intent to grow the wider business.
Location: Bristol
Salary: Competitive depending on experience – plus pension, PMI, DIS + additional group benefits
